Problem Laboratory of Distance Learning
General Information
The Program of the Development of Distance Learning System operates in ChITE KNUTE. Problem Laboratory of Distance Learning was established to achieve the goals of this Program. Problem Laboratory of Distance Learning is composed of teaching staff and employees of the Center of Informational Technologies.
Special attention is paid to the development of educational and teaching complexes of distance learning with their further certification and training of teaching staff for the distance learning.
Technical base led to conduct organizational measures, namely: to create a distance learning courses according to the adopted Program of Distance Learning Development in ChITE KNUTE for 2013 – 2015.
All Departments of the Institute have begun coordinated work on implementing distance learning in all faculties of ChITE KNUTE.
Representatives of the Institute take part in inter-institutional scientific and practical workshops "Implementation of distance learning technologies into the practice of higher educational establishments" based on KNEU named after Vadym Hetman. They deal with the problems and perspectives of the development of distance learning system for students majoring in Economics; problems of normative, methodological and organizational support of distance learning; and also devoted to the methods of distance course development.
Lecturers of the Institute are authors of scientific researches in the theory and methods of e-learning.
To help lecturers-developers of distance courses and tutors, workshops on methods of preparing educational complexes for distance learning and methods of distance learning organization are regularly held at the Institute. "Unified requirements for the distance course" and "Guidelines for the structure and content of e-books" are prepared.
